My first problem is that SETIhome does not appear in the projects list. Recently, I decided to assist the SETIhome project. I loved the screensavers and the cool graphics, but really, distributed computing comes down to offering up your CPU to the causes you believe in - that's the bottom line. I have Mint Linux 20.1 running in a VM under XCP-ng 5.71.2. I love it because when I downloaded and ran the projects in the past, the process wasn't really simple or easy. These projects are known to be active, generally have a reliable supply of work and will run on an. I love the concept of BOINC, which you can download and install directly from Berkeley's BOINC page. This is a list of some of the better known BOINC projects. With that one application, you can divvy up your spare CPU power to support a whole multitude of computing causes that you believe in.
